Can we export our data from Holiday?

Yes, you can export listings of your travel products, bookings and agents. Exports are in Microsoft Excel format, allowing for easy input into other software.

Is our data safe with you? What kind of backup policy do you have?

We take all reasonable precautions to keep your information safe and secure. Our servers are backed up on a daily basis, our databases are backed up once every hour. The software running our servers is always updated with the latest available versions.

Where is my data hosted?

The Holiday platform runs on Virtual Private Servers hosted by Slicehost. Our virtual servers are spread over a number of quad core, 64-bit machines (8+ ghz), using RAID-10 disk storage, Xen virtualization software with plenty of redundant power, UPS, cooling and fiber. Slicehost has recently been acquired by hosting giant Rackspace.

What kind of support do you provide? Can we call you?

Currently we only offer email support to all paid customers. We don't do support over the telephone, but fear not: all emails are done in a very timely fashion (all support emails are answered within 12 hours, typically an email gets answered as soon as we read though).

Can you install Holiday on our server?

We don't offer a server version of our software. All of our services run from our own servers; we take care of server maintenance, security, backups, updates, etc.

Can I keep certain employees from seeing certain travel products and bookings?

Yes, admin users can restrict access to certain travel products and bookings for specific users. Simply navigate to "User Accounts" under "My Account" and create a new user with access to certain travel products or allow an existing user access to certain travel products. Access to bookings work through access to products, users can only access booking made for products to which they have access.

Can you customize Holiday for us?

All users of Holiday use the same version. We don't deliver customized versions of Holiday. However, users are able to upload their own logo.

Are there any signup fees or termination fees or any other fees we should know about?

We hate hidden fees and nonsense startup fees just much as the next guy; the world would be a better place without them! So no, there are no hidden fees, the only costs are the ones presented here.

How does your refund policy work?

Usage of Holiday is a month-to-month, pay-as-you-go service so we don't provide refunds. You are billed every 30 days for the service. You can cancel the service at any time and you won't be charged again, but you are responsible for any charges already incurred.

Can we pay for your services a year in advance?

You can pay monthly, or in one lump sum for as many months in advance as you'd like. Once you've signed up you can set up the lump sum payment on your Account page. Invoices are automatically emailed to the account owner every time you are charged.

Do you have special pricing for non-profits, universities, or other groups in need?

We believe everyone is entitled to the best possible price we can offer. Those are the prices you'll find on the signup page. Our prices are among the lowest in the industry. In fact, our regular prices are actually lower than many competitor's special non-profit pricing. We do make exceptions based on extraordinary circumstances.

Do you offer any other languages besides English?

At this time the Holiday interface is only available in English, but Holiday does allow UTF-8 character sets so you can enter content in many languages including Spanish, French, German, Japanese and Chinese.

If we upgrade will we be billed twice this month? If we downgrade will we be prorated?

When you upgrade you are instantly upgraded to the higher plan but you don't have to pay the higher price until next month's bill. When you downgrade you are instantly downgraded, but you don't begin paying the lower rate until next month's bill.
